Jennings Creek

Terry has been off this week on vacation. Yesterday we
loaded up the Jeep and went on a road trip. These pictures
were taken at Jennings Creek in northern Jackson county.

Very peaceful and beautiful!

Wildflowers on the creek bank.

I could've stayed here all day!

A spooky tree on the creek bank. From here we headed
up to Standing Stone State Park.

"Like a tree planted by the water, I shall not be moved." That song popped into my head when I saw these pics. Just plain awesome! I'd love to have a little cabin nestled in the trees there. Ahhh....peace like a river. I'm in hymn mode today.

I'm with Kay - a cabin there would be great! Lovely place!

Pretty pix!!! That last one of the tree truck is so cool! Reminds of something out of Lord of the Rings! :o)
