Japanese Maple

Our Japanese Maple tree was almost killed by a bad freeze
Tennessee had in 2006. We had to cut several limbs off
because of damage, but it's come back just as beautiful as
ever. The red leaves are gorgeous!

A Horse is a Horse, of Course, of Course

We saw this horse lounging in a field on our recent road trip.
It appears she's pregnant. I'm no horse expert, but that's what
it looked like to us :)

We stopped the Jeep by the fence and she got up to come
and pose for a picture. I love riding out in the country. You
never know what you might see :)

Gobble Gobble

When we were out on our recent road trip we saw this huge
Wild Turkey running across the road. I wish the picture was
a little more focused, but I had my long lens on at the time
and wasn't expecting to see this big guy. He ran off the side
of the highway and into a field where he quickly disappeared.

Dog Day Afternoon

When me and Terry were out riding around in the country
recently, we spotted these two dogs frolicking in a creek.

April 24th Moon

Saturday was a stormy day in Middle Tennessee, but the
rain moved out in time for me to capture this spooky moon
picture.

Moon shining bright and beautiful!

Dogwood

This white Dogwood tree is in the cemetary behind our
house.

This pink Dogwood is in the cemetary as well. Both trees
have been absolutely gorgeous this spring!

More Scenes from Bledsoe Creek State Park

If you get the chance, drive out to some of Tennessee's state
parks. There's so much beauty in this state :)

Bledsoe Creek State Park

On Saturday April 3rd, me and Terry took a road trip up to
Bledsoe Creek State Park near Gallatin, Tennessee. We had
never been there before and wanted to check it out.

One of the many walking trails in the park.

Picture Postcards from J County

I'm not sure of the name of this place, but it sure was pretty.
Located somewhere in Jackson County, TN.

My mountain man :)

I did some experimenting with camera settings for these
water shots.
