Random Shots

My dad passed away in March of 1999. We planted this
Yoshino cherry tree in his memory. When it's in full bloom,
we put a light in the center of it aimed upward. At night it
looks like a giant pink cloud. It's absolutely gorgeous!

I took this picture when we were flying back from Chicago.
Clouds fascinate me! I love taking pictures of them.

Your cherry tree is so pretty! Our two got decimated in that storm that took down our willow tree and they've never been the same. Love your cloud pic!

I love cherry trees! Their puffy pink blooms never last long enough. One of my fave trees! That tree is 10 years old now. Time does fly. Like your cloud shots... I need to show you some of my cloud pics from my Vegas plane trip... wickedness! I might have posted them on Geni. It's freaky being ABOVE the clouds. They look cooler from above I think!

If you ever want to plant a beautiful, fast growing tree, plant a Yoshino! I can't believe how big that tree has gotten in 10 years. We look forward to it blooming every spring. I hope Rob's little Yoshino tree grows just as fast.
