The Greatest Show on Earth

On January 23, we attended a performance of the Ringling
Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus in Nashville, TN. My sister,
Jane, and her two daughters, Sarah and Julia, also attended.
My niece, Sarah, took the following pictures of the elephants.
They are beautiful creatures and were my favorite part of the
circus!

Terry and I ventured out into the snow to get some pictures.
We walked around the house, down in the cemetary adjacent
to our backyard and up the street. It was very icy and I was
afraid of falling and busting not only my derriere, but my
camera as well.


The cemetary, which is always a peaceful place to walk was
even more serene with the snowfall. Here's Terry looking at
something in the snow. Not sure what it was.


We don't get this kind of snowfall in Tennessee much anymore,
so you savor every moment of it. This picture was taken from
the cemetary walking back up the hill toward our house. Love
the sunburst and the shadows on the snow.

Random Snow Scenes

I took tons of photos during our recent snowfall. Here

Happy Birthday to my big sister, Kay! She turns
57 years young today.


Kay is also an awesome wife, mother and grandmother.
Although we're only 6 years apart, I always felt like I
had a second mom when we were growing up. Kay also
turned me on to the Beatles...thank you, sis :)


Happy Birthday, sis! I love you and I'm so
very blessed to have you as my sister!

Snow Animals

Our Sand Cherry tree was coated with a thin layer of ice
after our recent snowfall.


Our 13 year old cat, Jessica didn't know what to think of
all the snow and ice. Needless to say she didn't stay out
long.


We were dogsitting our favorite Maltese, Angel Button,
while her mom was working out of town. You can hardly
see her out in the snow. It was fun watching her frolic.

This Robin was sitting on the back porch steps trying to
stay warm.
