Fish Eagle

I love bird watching and have since I was 10 years old. I got real
excited when we found this bird sanctuary in Gulf State Park.
The following pictures were taken in and around the santuary.

Marshland around the birding trail.

The sanctuary is home to the Osprey which is a fish eating bird
of prey, or raptor. This is a nest of baby Ospreys on a manmade
platform. The Osprey is also called a "fish eagle."

I'm glad you got to go to the bird sanctuary. The Osprey does remind me of an eagle.
