After one of the storms last week, we found this Robin's nest laying
out in the front yard. It was blown out of one of our Maple trees.
I found this Robin egg shell in our back yard. Hopefully it was
hatched succesfully and not destroyed by an animal or an other
bird!

That's sad! I hope the nest had already been emptied of babies!

Hope the robins flew the coop safely! Nature can be quite cruel.
I don't think there were babies or eggs in the nest. We checked the vicinity around where the nest was laying in the yard. We didn't see anything.
What a beautiful blue egg! I hope all the bird babies are safe!
