When we were out on our recent road trip we saw this huge
Wild Turkey running across the road. I wish the picture was
a little more focused, but I had my long lens on at the time
and wasn't expecting to see this big guy. He ran off the side
of the highway and into a field where he quickly disappeared.

Ben Franklin wanted to make this the national bird. So glad that didn't happen, as they are not the most attractive winged creatures. Must have been cool seeing a wild turkey. Kelly sees them around her house all the time.

Yep, Murf is covered in those things! Herds of them on the battlefield. :o)
