Bare Trees, Blue Skies

I took this picture on Jan. 11th. I love the look of the dark, bare branches against the blue sky and clouds. I also added a little bit of Orton effect to the shot to give it a soft focus.

Hole in the Clouds

This is what was left of the blue sky Saturday morning after the
dark clouds started closing in.

Up a Tree

I took this picture on the Buffalo Valley walking
trail at Center Hill Lake. The white bark of this
Sycamore tree was so pretty against the blue sky!

The sun finally came out today. It was a welcome
sight!


This isn't an ice sculpture. It came out of our cat's water bowl.
When it's this cold it's very hard to keep water for them outside.


Ah, beautiful blue sky! The snow is finally starting to melt.


Our cats took full advantage of the sunshine today. They're
probably getting cabin fever too as they stay holed up in the
garage during these cold, snowy days.
