The sunflowers in our garden were picked clean and dying out. Saturday morning I cut them down and cleared them out of the garden. I'm sad to see them go :( Already looking forward to planting them next year!
I've enjoyed the sunflower pictures this summer. I guess all good things must come to an end... I'm with Kay, it makes me want to plant some next year!

I feel bad for all the little goldfinches that are still coming around expecting to see sunflowers :(
