A River Runs Through It

This past Sunday me and Terry gave up our afternoon nap
and took to the road. It was a nice day and I wanted to get
some pictures for my blog. We ended up in a park near where
we live. We've been meaning to check out this park for a long
time, but have never gotten around to it. The park has a nice
playground for the kids and a long walking trail that runs adjacent
to the Caney Fork River. We got off the beaten path and walked
down to the river's edge where I snapped these pictures.

The Caney Fork River flows into the Cumberland River
near Carthage. From Carthage the Cumberland River
flows into the Tennessee River at Land Between the Lakes
on the Kentucky - Tennessee Border.

The Caney Fork River flows for 144 miles in a northwesterly
direction to the Cumberland River, near Carthage, in Smith
county.

Wow! That's a nice place so close to your home. It'll really be beautiful when everything greens out. Pretty pictures.
