Sunflower for a Stormy Day

It's been a nasty, stormy, deary day here in Middle Tennessee.
We've been under a tornado watch all day and schools here in
Smith county let out early in anticipation of the bad weather.

A Taste of Summer

Since my hubby Terry had his foot surgery a week ago, I haven't
been able to get out and take any new pictures, sooooo. I thought
I would reach back into the archives and post some pictures from
the past. This one should get you in the mood for summer :0)

Happy 61st Birthday to my bro-in-law, Neil Ranft. Hope you have
the happiest of birthdays old dude. Love ya!

Terry had his first post operative doctor visit this morning.
They took x-rays of his foot and changed his bandage. Dr.
Suh says he's doing great! Just gotta keep that foot propped
up and ice on it. His foot and ankle were very swollen, but
that's to be expected. He has another followup next Friday.

My husband, Terry, had out patient foot surgery yesterday
morning. I took this shot of him in the pre-op. He was so
ready to get the surgery over with and I was ready for it to
be over with for him.


He had a bunion on his left foot removed and his second
toe straightened. After over an hour of surgery, he came
through with flying colors and is on the mend. He is one
tough cookie :0)
