No Pictures Please!

I just had to share these pics of our cat Jessica that I took
the other morning. She's probably thinking, "Oh no, she's
taking pics of me again!"

"Well, ok...If you must! Let's get this over with!"

"Alright, I've had enough now!"

"Finally I can get back to my nap."

Goldenrod & Daisies

Smith county countryside. I took this picture across the
field in the cemetary next to our house.

Small daisies growing in the field adjacent to our house.

The bugs are called Goldenrod Soldier Beetles.

Libby Catches a Snake

Our cat, Libby was very proud of the Garter snake that she
caught. She didn't quite know what to do with it.

It's amazing how well she blends in with the rocks. If
you look closely you can see the Garter snake that she
killed.

This is one of her favorite spots to snooze.

Backyard Shots

A yellow leaf on our Tulip Poplar signals the arrival of
Fall. The Tulip Poplar is the state tree of Tennessee.

"October's poplars are flaming torches lighting the
way to winter."

Tulip Poplar fruit.

Pears on our neighbor's tree. Yum!

Don't shake the tree when the pears fall off
themselves.

Love was kind of crazy with a Spooky little girl like you!

We lost our cat Spooky today. She had been a part of our
family for about 10 years. We will miss her and her quirky
ways. She was a unique animal for sure and there will never
be another cat like her. RIP Spook!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone
here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they
can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are
warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and
vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong
again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times
gone by.
