Tower of Flowers

We hung out in downtown Nashville after the Heart
concert last night at the Ryman Auditorium. These
beautiful towers of Petunias stand in front of the
Schermerhorn Symphony Center.


I would love to know how they did this!

Reward for A Stormy Day

We had big storms in Gordonsville late in the afternoon
on Labor Day. First came the beautiful rainbow.


Then came the breathtaking sunset.


Beautiful and gorgeous/Beauteous :-)


It was worth a day of storms to get this incredible sight!

September Sunset

Nothing like a beautiful sunset!


I didn't realize there were birds in this picture until I
uploaded it to my computer.

Moon Part 3

If you look closely you can see a flock of birds under the
moon. Terry said they looked like UFOs. These pictures
were taken on Sept. 3rd.


More birds flying by.


You can kind of make out the man in the moon in this shot.

Here Comes the Moon

For the past couple of nights, I've been in a moon picture
taking frenzy. I love the moon and anything celestial. I
put the camera on my tripod on the night setting and began
snapping away. I wish I had a better camera...maybe for
Christmas? I think my little Kodak Easyshare does a pretty
fair job. These pics were taken the night of Sept. 1st.


To the lower left of the moon is the planet Jupiter.


I've found that a little bit of cloud cover and trees make
for a more interesting picture.

Late August Sunset Part Deux

This was one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've seen in
a long time!
