The slow exposure caught my arm moving as I outlined my profile.

Fun with fire. I used a flexible lighter for the background of this shot. I was very, very careful!

Put Another Fake Log on the Fire

Thank goodness for our gas logs! They've kept us nice and
toasty during the recent bitter cold spell. And the best part
is you don't have to worry about buying firewood.

C'mon Baby Light My Fire!

Hubby Terry by the glow of the fire! His eyes look kind
of spooky...like he's possessed :)


Jesse cat chose to stay up on the back porch and
enjoy the fire from afar.

There's nothing like a nice roaring fire in our firepit. I love
taking pictures of fire. I was experimenting with settings
on my camera and got this interesting effect with the
fireworks setting.

Ocean and Fire

We took these pictures of the beach and ocean in Destin,
Florida in May of 2008.

My niece Kelly took this picture with our camera. Not
sure whose footprint those are. I think they belong to
Kelly and Kerry.


Seems we always have a brush pile in our backyard. This
is just one of many bonfires we've had.


The fire was so hot you had to stand a long
way away from it. Even then you could still
feel the heat.
