Sunflowers & Bees

Huge Bumble bee feasting on one of our sunflowers.

Ah, Sunflower, weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun;
Seeking after that sweet golden clime,
Where the traveller's journal done;
Where the youth pined away with desire,
And the pale virgin shrouded in snow,
Arise from their graves, and aspire
Where my Sunflower wishes to go!

That's a great picture! I took some pictures Sunday of a bee on a coneflower. I was going to post them, but i never got to it. I guess I'm too lazy :) Maybe I'll get to it later today?
