I've always had an interest in old headstones. While me and Terry were out on our road trip this past weekend, we stopped in a cemetery that contained a lot of old headstones. Some were so old you couldn't even read the inscriptions.
This is the oldest one we found from 1799.
I found this one to be quite interesting. There's a hand with a finger pointing up toward what looks like a Bible.

Love old cemeteries. These headstones are very cool. Glad to see you could post more than one picture :)

Jane, the cemetery was in Dekalb county. Kay, yes I think I figured out how to post more than one picture at a time without them jumping around. I still don't like the new format!
