Yesterday was a day of severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado
warnings across Middle Tennessee. We had lots of heavy rain, winds
and some ominous clouds that rolled through our neighborhood. There
were a couple of rotating thunderstorm clouds spotted near Carthage,
which is ten miles to the north of us. All in all I would say we dodged a
bullet yesterday as we were in a high risk for tornadoes. The scary thing
is tornado season hasn't even begun yet.

It was a rough day for sure! Ironic part was school was in during one of the tornado warnings. We got out early, and the sun came out! Rest of the bad weather hit late in the afternoon.
Nasty day, it was, but once again we were spared from the worst of it. Cool stormy sky pics!
