Here's another shot from yesterday morning's heavy frost. It looks like someone sprinkled salt on the leaves. I've learned how hard it is to take macro shots. It's almost impossible to hold the camera still enough. It takes a lot of practice and patience.

The Leaves Are A Changin'

"Come, little leaves,"
Said the wind one day,
"Come over the meadows
With me, and play;
Put on your dresses
Of red and gold;
Summer is gone,
And the days grow cold."

A Sign of Things to Come

Most of the leaves on our Yoshino Cherry tree have turned or
have fallen. The Bradford Pears will be the last to lose their leaves.
Fall is almost here!

Fall Bradford Pear Leaves

Just when you think the leaves can't get any prettier!

Love the two toned colors!

Just Can't Get Enough of these Fall Colors!

The Maple trees in our front yard have taken
their own sweet time changing.

You can see that little tinge of yellow and orange
on the outer leaves. It's funny because we planted
these two trees at the same time, but one changes
earlier than the other. Our Tulip Poplars in the
backyard do that as well.

Fall Beauty

Dogwood tree in our back yard

Our Bradford Pear trees are always last to lose their leaves
and the first tree to bloom in the spring.
