Our camera was sitting on top of the bar when I got up this morning. That means that Terry took some sunrise pictures. He captured these two lovely shots around 7 am. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Autumn Equinox Eve

Terry enjoying our bonfire from afar. It was a gorgeous Saturday evening. There weren't any college football games of interest on, so we decided to build ourselves a little fire.

There's nothing better than the crackle and warmth of a fire on a cool, crisp evening. Today is the first day of fall, so happy fall, ya'll!

Terry brought me these beautiful spring flowers today. He's so sweet!  They really brighten up the room on this dreary Good Friday.

Happy Birthday to my awesome hubby, Terry! He turns 56 today. Born on Dec. 21, 1956 in Manchester, TN. We didn't think we were going to get to celebrate his birthday today, what with the world ending and all :0) Love you T!

You Wet!

Terry arriving home yesterday afternoon in a torrential downpour and tornado warning. He was soaked to the skin. No tornadoes yesterday, but a lot of rain.

Post Op #2

Terry had his 2nd post operative doctor's visit this
morning. This is what his foot looked like before the
doctor removed his stitches. He was quite happy about
that. Now he can take a shower. His foot wasn't as swollen
as it was on the first visit. The doc told him he could go
back to work next Wednesday, so he's progressing good :0)
Next visit is in three weeks.

Terry had his first post operative doctor visit this morning.
They took x-rays of his foot and changed his bandage. Dr.
Suh says he's doing great! Just gotta keep that foot propped
up and ice on it. His foot and ankle were very swollen, but
that's to be expected. He has another followup next Friday.

My husband, Terry, had out patient foot surgery yesterday
morning. I took this shot of him in the pre-op. He was so
ready to get the surgery over with and I was ready for it to
be over with for him.


He had a bunion on his left foot removed and his second
toe straightened. After over an hour of surgery, he came
through with flying colors and is on the mend. He is one
tough cookie :0)

Winter Sunrise

Hubby Terry took this beautiful sunrise picture at 6:35 a.m. this morning.

Me and the old man decided a couple of years ago to
stop celebrating a "Hallmark" holiday like Valentine's
Day. We feel that people should show their love to one
another every day. I wasn't expecting anything and Terry
comes home yesterday with these beautiful yellow roses.
They smell so good!

The Calm Before the Storm?

Terry took this beautiful picture this morning. Middle Tennessee
is under a tornado watch until 5pm this afternoon. Hopefully the
weather won't be severe today!
