We All Shine On!

I bought this pretty sun decoration at Hobby Lobby with the gift card I got for my birthday. Thanks, Kay!

Happy Macro

This cute little sun if from the wind chimes my sister, Jane, got me
for my birthday. There hanging on one of our swings in the garden.

Sunbeams

Terry took this cool shot of sunbeams this morning.

"Here Comes the Sun and I Say It's Alright." ~ George Harrison

The sun finally came out today. It was a welcome
sight!

This isn't an ice sculpture. It came out of our cat's water bowl.
When it's this cold it's very hard to keep water for them outside.

Ah, beautiful blue sky! The snow is finally starting to melt.

Our cats took full advantage of the sunshine today. They're
probably getting cabin fever too as they stay holed up in the
garage during these cold, snowy days.

Is It? Could It Be?

I was excited to see the sun make an appearance yesterday.
Unfortunately, it was short lived. Hopefully it will make an
appearance again very soon and hang around for awhile!

Fall Morning

"I don't ask for the meaning of the song of a bird or the rising of
the sun on a misty morning. There they are, and they are beautiful.

Here are more pictures taken with the close up setting on
my camera.

Here comes the sun! The sunshine was a very welcome sight
today after the cold weather and snow of late. This little sun
sun catcher always brings a smile to my face :)

This is one of my favorite suncatchers!

Sunburst

Took this picture through the limbs of a dogwood tree.

Pictures from My Backyard

Old glory!

Our rosebush was gorgeous this year thanks to all
the rain we've had.

I love this little glass sun garden stake.

Sunbeam! I took this one behind the hedgerow in our
backyard. We wallowed out a little trail back there.
There's lots of sticks and "little stuff" that we collect
when we build a fire in our firepit.

Nature Knick Knacks

I'm a sucker for knick knacks, especially
celestial knick knacks. I thought I would
share just a few of them that I've collected
over the past few months and years.

This is one of my all time favs!

We've had this little sundial for a long time. I love how
it's rusting out. Gives it character!

I got this metal sunflower post at Hobby Lobby a couple
of years ago. The moment the weather starts warming up,
he comes out of storage.
