Heart Shaped Bokeh

I love fooling around with creative photography. I follow a page called “Photography Tips” on Facebook and got the idea for this photo. It’s a book with two pages folded over to create the image of a heart. The camera settings give it a “bokeh” effect. Pretty neat!

Angelic light painting.

The led light I was using for this light painting was a little brighter than I intended. So bright that you can see me to the side of the tree doing my thing. By the look on my face, you can tell I'm really into it :0)

Electric Owl

I did this light painting on our garden owl using my little set of led lights.

I did these two light paintings in the cemetery behind our house. The orange cast in the first picture is what they call "light pollution." Gives the picture an eerie look.

Yoshino Cherry Light Painting

I did this light painting in our backyard on April 10th.

Willow tree light painting.

Happy Easter everyone!!!!

Liberty!

and justice for all!

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." ~ Benjamin Franklin

Don't worry, be happy!

Do You Believe in Angels?

The guardian angels of life fly so high as to be beyond our sight, but they are always looking down upon us.  ~ Jean Paul Richter

I outlined my profile with a red LED light. Kind of freaky looking, eh?

The slow exposure caught my arm moving as I outlined my profile.

Fun with fire. I used a flexible lighter for the background of this shot. I was very, very careful!

Faith, Hope, Love, Believe!

Truth!

is all you need!

Mushroom Light Painting

Magical mushrooms. I love how this one turned out!

Light painting using my lava lamp. The weird thing is, the bottom and the top of the lamp don't show up in the picture. Cue Twilight Zone Theme :0)

Cherub blowing smoke.

Me messing around  with some light painting. I've turned our office into a makeshift dark room to indulge in my new favorite kind of photography.

Heart shaped box.

I did all of these light paintings with a strand of LED Christmas lights. I traced my hand in this first shot. I love this type of photography. It's very addicting!

I took a strand of lights and twirled them around.

This last shot looks like a heart. That was unintentional, but so neat that it turned out that way :0)

Electric Cherubs

Cherub light paintings.

More light painting. I think I'm getting pretty good at this :0)
