you can count the rings.
Foliage of the Leyland Cypress. We planted
62 of these trees in our backyard. In the past
few years we've had to cut down 3 of them.
We call them our "living fence." We've had
to top them over the years because they've
grown so tall.
I'm not sure what kind of tree this is, but
the peeling bark is kind of interesting.

How many rings did the Leyland have? I counted at least 8? I love the close up of the foliage!
The tree we cut down was one of the last rows of trees we planted, so 8 rings is about right.
I can't believe there are 62 of them! WOW! I love these pics!!!
