Beach House Knick Knacks

This awesome winding staircase was built by the owner of
the beach house we stayed in. I wanted to bring it home with
me :)


This carved wooden statue reminded me
of the Paul McCartney song "Uncle Albert,
Admiral Halsey".


Kind of scary!




This little metal sailing ship was sitting in the window sill in
the living room.

This pretty Crepe Myrtle bush was growing in front of our
beach house in Litchfield, SC.

Moonrise Over the Atlantic

The full moon shining on the ocean and waves was absolutely
gorgeous!

Ghost Beach

Actually it's Litchfield Beach, but these pictures are kind of
ghostly looking. I was experimenting with camera settings.
I had the ISO set at 1600 and the white balance set on
Tungsten. Very cool effects with the full moon shining on
the water and the seaoats in the foreground.








The beach house next to us was having their boardwalk redone.
The two end posts look like crosses. Creepy!

Sunset and Moonrise over Litchfield Beach

After a day or storms, a beautiful sunset!

The low pressure system off the coast plus a full moon made
for some interesting high tides.


I was very excited when I found out there
would be a full moon while we were at the
beach! Ahhhhhhh!

Sunrise Over Litchfield Beach

Thursday morning, May 28th we were finally treated to a
spectacular sunrise. It was definitely worth getting up at 5
am for :) Enjoy!
